Fish Creek will host a weekend of fun and frivolity. Winter Fest activities will feature something to delight every age. This year’s activities include a “fun and funky” parade, the always-popular chili cook-off, family games, trolley and sleigh rides, winter wine festival, live music and great food. Cheer on your favorite singer at the 8th annual Door County Idol (Door County Auditorium). Then, dance the night away at the Rock n Roll Snow Dance. The festival winds down Sunday morning with a bit of wacky amusement with the third annual Fruit Loop, a half mile costumed winter fun run that concludes with an actual Fruit Loop breakfast of champions under the Winter Festival tent. A fun-filled day highlighted by a fishing tournament which ends at 2 PM. Live music 5-10 PM. Raffles for artwork, fishing supplies, hunting equipment, kids events and live music.
