Food/Dining : Sister Bay Know what the Number One town in Wisconsin is for fine dining? Well, the Wisconsin Tourist Bureau named Sister Bay as # 1. And The Mission Grille restaurant is one of the reasons why! We had a delightful meal at The Mission Grille! The Mission Grille in Sister Bay occupies what once was a church from 1912 until 1984. The shape of the building itself, and a pew serve as reminders of its past. In 1989, it became the Mission Grille!
The Menu Main courses include a Certified Angus Beef(R) prime rib in a 12 or 16 ounce cut , an 8 ounce filet, a Terra Aqua (a surf and turf) which includes and 8 ounce Certified Angus Beef(R) and half a pound of split king crab legs, Mission Stuffed Pork Chops, wild Alaskan salmon, and a Bistro Chicken which is pan seared and topped with Chevre goat cheese, wilted spinach, artichokes and lemon basil sauce. Many other creative selections are offered. See total dinner menu!
Homemade desserts (changes, so check) included Crème Brulee, Mudd Pie and Lemon Crisp. Awesome! The Mission Grille also offers an early dinner menu (for 5 - 6PM) as well as special holiday menus that may include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter and Mother's Day. We love the food here, and like the variety of offerings for dinner. The wine selection at Mission Grille is top notch! The Mission Grille is a Eleven-Time Wine Spectator Award Winner, and won Best of Award for Excellence. Mission Grille will even cater parties, at their place or yours! Mission Grille is open year-round for dinner, again, with special menus during the Holidays! Our experience was very positive at Mission Grille! We have returned again and again! You will love the The Mission Grille so check them out. And please tell them that DoorCountyNavigator.com sent you! |
