We’ll, we’ve eaten at this new place already (see our review) and it was good. We also just sat at the bar and chatted. They have a nice bar, friendly staff, nice selection of drinks and brands, and live entertainment most weekends! We liked it when this place was the old Frontier Bar, but it’s still a good place – they changed the entire look of it – it is definitely upscale (the restaurant is probably the most expensive one in Door County, but it is very good).

They did keep the bullet holes in the original tin ceiling – you might want to ask about the story of Lanny Nelson. An old safe is the hostess stand, and the original bar still stands. When they chose to extend the bar about another 10 feet, they hired a professional woodworker who matched the bar perfectly. The new end of the bar is to the right as you sit at the bar and face the beveled mirroring – but you’d never be able to tell!

We think you can either hang at the bar before or after dinner, or just stop in for the entertainment. Catch the neon wave and check it out!
