Tranquility!  Peace of mind!  Calm and delightful!  This is the Spa at Sacred Grounds!  Would you like a Door County hot stone massage or Raindrop Therapy?  You’ll find it here, on the northern edge of Ephraim, in a cozy, quiet building tucked among the trees.

Walk past the Holy Hut and there you will find the entrance to The Spa.  From the second you walk into to The Spa, you feel at ease – a large sculpture in the middle of the small, cozy atrium, speaks tranquility and calm!  The receptionist, immediately to your right as you walk in, will help you select from the many treatments available.  Appointments are a must, however, so please plan ahead.

You can get Swedish massage or craniosacral therapy, where gentle pressure is applied to the head and sacrum. Choose lymphatic massage to help stimulate your immune system, or a comforting facial.  There is also Reiki (“Universal life energy”), Reflexology, couples massage (extremely popular – do it!), and private steam and sauna.  Sounds great!

Our staff has had massages at The Spa, from deep-tissue to Swedish and we have enjoyed them all.  The staff is tremendously helpful and good at what they do.  They were written up in Door County Magazine a while back.  The Spa takes a “holistic” approach to wellness.

Massage treatments are reasonably priced.  So call, stop in for a brochure, or visit The Spa at Sacred Ground website for more information.  The Spa specializes in a variety of skin care services, too, including customized facials, body scrubs, Aromassage and mud wraps.

Directions: Townline Road is easy to miss, and you will not see The Spa from the road (Hwy 42).  So . . . !  If you are heading north on 42, you will have to keep an eye out for Townline Rd. – turn left, and then about 20 yards later, left again into a lot, which will curve around to the left after you enter.  And all the way around the left are the Holy Hut and The Spa buildings.   If coming from the north, well – you can figure that out!  Townline Road has the City Farmer store kitty-corner from The Spa at Sacred Grounds.

We think you will find this retreat a true delight to the senses and the body!  Revitalize yourself!  Call ahead and make an appointment – that’s the best thing to do.  And, if you have a friend that you think will enjoy this royal treatment, why not give them a gift certificate from The Spa?  They will love it!  You know, I just got one for my birthday and I am looking forward to using it very soon!
