CENTER STAGE – WASHINGTON ISLAND
Dates of event: 1/3/10 To 5/2/10
Island Players will present its tenth season of “Center Stage,” an informal monthly afternoon of play readings performed at the Recreation Center. In January, “Center Stage” will sponsor a retrospective of Island Players’ 25 years of serving the community. As part of the program, former Board members will be honored and invited to share stories from past years. 2- 4 PM on the first Sunday of each month. http://www.islandplayers.org/

READING THE RIDGES’ – ART SHOW AT THE LINK GALLERY - FISH CREEK
Dates of Event: 3/1/10 – 4/12/10
Works from Door County artists tell the story of The Ridges Sanctuary in paint, clay, fiber, wood, and metal. All works are reflective of or inspired by the natural areas of the ridges and swales of The Ridges Sanctuary or the old growth forest of Logan Creek. For info call 920-839-2802.

CONCERT: DIFFERENT DRUMS OF IRELAND – FISH CREEK
Date of Event: 3/5/10
At the Door County Auditorium. Different Drums of Ireland, a band composed of five musicians, was created in 1992 as a community relations project in Derry, Northern Ireland. Featuring the Lambeg and Bodhran drums, as well as the guitar, snares, long drum, pipes, and vocals, Different Drums of Ireland celebrates the musical traditions, customs, and sounds of that wee part of the world, crossing boundaries in an effort to promote peace and unity.
8:00 PM, Tickets: $20 Adults/ $5 Students.

MIDWEST PRINTMAKERS GROUP INVITATIONAL EXHIBIT – STURGEON BAY

COMEDY CLUB AT THE LANDMARK RESORT – EGG HARBOR

DOOR COUNTY WINTER WONDERLAND TOUR - 2010
Dates of Event: March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
Pickup is countywide between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. Trolley guests will tour/taste at an award winning winery, followed by a cozy sleigh ride through the Door’s most wintry landscapes. MILLER ART MUSEUM – STURGEON BAY
EXHIBIT: BARBARA’S FARM BY DAN ANDERSON
Dates of Event: 1/16/10 To 3/2/10
The first of seven changing exhibits annually, in this exhibit, Dan Anderson creates a childhood memoir of this northern Door Farm where he played as a child. DOOR COUNTY TROLLEY PROGRESSIVE DINNER OUTING

Trolley guests will experience unique stops for hors d’oeuvres/cocktails at a surprise location, an elegant dinner at The Inn at Kristofer’s, and a decadent dessert at a romantic inn. Pick up at 5 PM at Orchard Country Winery (1/2 mile south of Fish Creek on Hwy 42). $73 per person (plus tax) includes trolley transportation, hors d' oeuvres, cocktail, dinner and dessert. NO FAMILY LEFT INSIDE – BAILEYS HARBOR

3/12/10 Wander the Woods after Dark: On this hike, you’ll discover that night explorations can be great fun, and not at all frightening.

At The Ridges Sanctuary, 8288 Hwy Q, Baileys Harbor.
This series of Family Events is a collaborative effort with the Northern Door YMCA. To encourage families to reconnect with the outdoors.

DOOR COUNTY WINE AND CHEESE GALA – STURGEON BAY

At the Stone Harbor Resort – 107 N. First Ave. 5-8 PM. Local wineries will showcase their wines, along with local cherry products, soda and craft beer, served with specialty cheese, crackers, fruit, and nuts. Music, silent auction, and door prizes. $15 per person in advance, $20 at the door. 920-743-9015.

12th ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE – STURGEON BAY
Date of event: 3/13/10
Downtown Sturgeon Bay will be green for a day. Parade begins at 11 AM. Look for local establishments to have green fare during the day. For more information call 800-301-6695.
