DOOR COUNTY WINTER WONDERLAND TOUR
Dates of event: March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
Pickup is county-wide between 9:15 and 10 AM. Trolley guests will tour/taste at an award winning winery, followed by a cozy sleigh ride through the Door’s most wintry landscapes. Top it off with a fireside lunch at the romantic White Gull Inn. Call 920-868-1100 for reservations. $54 per person (plus tax). Includes trolley transportation, fireside lunch, and sleigh ride. EXHIBIT -THE BIG READ: A TOM SAWYER EXPERIENCE- STURGEON BAY
At Fairfield Center for Contemporary Art, 242 Michigan St.
Dates of event: 1/22/2009 To 3/14/2009
The Big Read returns to Door County for a second year, this time featuring Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. This exhibit, displayed in four sections, reflects the 1876 classic’s continuing resonance with the public and its ongoing impact on contemporary art, from the earliest years of the 20th century to present day.

MILLER ART MUSEUM EXHIBIT – STURGEON BAY
EXHIBIT-DENISE FLEMING
Dates of event: 1/24/2009 To 4/14/2009
A great family event. Denise Fleming, a Young Children’s Book Illustrator and 1994 Caldecott Honor Award winner. The exhibit displays 80 original art works in a playful park-like setting with fun art activities, 12 of her books to read, puppet play and more! Museum hours: Monday 10 AM-8 PM, Tue-Sat 10 AM-5 PM. DOOR COUNTY TROLLEY PROGRESSIVE DINNER OUTING
Dates of Event: 3/07/09, 3/14/09, 3/28/09
Pick up at 5 PM at Orchard Country Winery
Trolley guests will experience unique stops for hors d’oeuvres/cocktails at a surprise location, an elegant dinner at The Inn at Kristofer’s, and a decadent dessert at a romantic inn. FIRESIDE COFFEEHOUSE SERIES: BOB BOVEE & GAIL HEIL –FISH CREEK
At the Door Community Auditorium

In the long-established tradition of American rural music, Bob Bovee and Gail Heil perform fiddle dance tunes, cowboy songs, blues, rags, and sentimental duets in vocal and instrumental harmony. Accompanied by fiddle, banjo, guitar, and harmonica, Bovee and Heil blend their voices in musical stories that echo of years past, recalling the roots-folklore of another era. Starts at 7:00 PM. 11th ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE – STURGEON BAY
