63-Hole
Golf Recommendations
You
will need to arrive in time to golf 9 on Friday, then 36 on Saturday,
and another 18 on Sunday. This is a real golf weekend!
9-Holes
on Friday
Have time to have some fun on Friday? Then golf an easy nine at Deer Run
on Washington Island, after a 20-minute Ferry Boat ride over! Very peaceful
ride. You can eat at the Old Post Office Restaurant in Ephraim, or at
the Shoreline in Gills Rock. The course is mostly fun to get to! If you
do not have have time for a Ferry Boat ride, then golf a quick nine at
Alpine Golf Course in Egg Harbor. You can golf the White or Red, but not
the scenic Blue when only golfing nine. Read our Alpine
Golf Course review. Eat at the Village Café in Egg Harbor!
36-Holes
on Saturday!
OK, get ready – long
day! Start out at Idlewild Golf Club in Sturgeon Bay for 18. Idlewild is
a nice course, with lots of dog-legs and water. Fun course, and challenging
enough for all. Definitely get a cart. Read our Idlewild Golf Club review!
Then when you have completed Idlewild Golf Club, head to a very tough 18 at Horseshoe
Bay Golf Club.
Everything thing about this private club is first class. Call ahead to make sure
you can get in and discover how you might be able to play this private course. It
is outstanding in every regard. This will be a challenging day!
18
on Sunday
Head out to The Orchards in Egg Harbor, another fine golf course in Egg
Harbor. This is supposed to be a superior bent-grass course! A challenging
finish to your 63 hole weekend! Have breakfast at The Village Café
on Egg Harbor; or if having lunch or a snack afterwards, head to Caseys
in town, or Trio for dinner if you have the time. Both in Egg Harbor.
Or you might enjoy a nice snack and hand-crafted micro-beer at Shipwrecked,
also in town sit out on their patio!
