Participating ports include Sturgeon Bay, Baileys Harbor, Washington Island, Algoma and Kewaunee. Over $40,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the anglers who catch the biggest fish each day at all five weigh-in sites. Tickets are $25 for the entire tournament and $13 for one day. Location: Countywide The Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek will host over 35 artists from Door County and across the country. The artists have just six days to put the peninsula's magical storefront, fields, and architecture down on canvas. The collector’s preview, gala and auction will be held on Sunday, July 24th. Many free events will be held during the week, and will be open to the public. Paintings created during the week will be sold in the Peninsula School of Art's gallery and at a live auction.   • Date of Event: 7/27/17 – 7/29/17 “Three Days of Great Bands. 40 Acres of Music and Camping.” Burning Cow Music Festival will rise from the ashes and ignite Sturgeon Bay with another colossal 3 day lineup of southern rock, blues, alt-country, and jam bands. The festival sprawls over 40 acres of the Motorcycle Memorial grounds, 4780 Mathey Rd., where rustic camping and hot showers are available.   • Dates of Event: Daily, May through October Cruise launches from the dock adjacent to the Door County Maritime Museum, 120N.Madison Ave. Each narrated tour lasts 1½ hours and cruises either through the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal or to Sherwood Point Lighthouse (weather permitting). Snacks and refreshments, including full bar, are available on board for sale during the cruise. Daily cruises during July-August peak season.
