Cruise launches from the dock adjacent to the Door County Maritime Museum, 120N.Madison Ave. Each narrated tour lasts 1½ hours and cruises either through the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal or to Sherwood Point Lighthouse (weather permitting). Snacks and refreshments, including full bar, are available on board for sale during the cruise. Daily cruises during July-August peak season. In Peninsula State Park, race starts at 10AM on a paved surface within the Peninsula State Park. All finishers receive a t-shirt, finisher’s medal as well as food and drink at the finish line. Awards will be presented to the top male and female runners, top male and female master runners and top three finisher in each age group. New this year, we are offering the Door County Half Marathon Team Competition for the very first time, with prizes for the top team. Meet one on one with the vintners of these private winery’s that make treasured labeled, high quality wines. In Peninsula State Park, race begins at 10:30 AM, after the half-marathon start. Participants will follow the out and back course along the water on Shore Rd. going past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and Welcker’s Point, finishing at the same finish line as the half marathon. Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5K. All finishers will receive a t-shirt and food and drink at the finish line. Awards for the top 3 male and female finishers, and door prizes will be given out. Starboard Brewing Company, 151 N 3rd Ave. Musicians from Door County Folk Alliance get together informally and play a variety of Celtic music.
